With a background in biomedical sciences and minors in Art and Spanish, I've always had a passion for blending creativity with technology. My studies in art gave me a strong foundation in graphic design, digital illustration, and user-centered design, helping me learn how to use visual principles to create intuitive and functional experiences.
In my role as an EMT, I’ve learned how to thrive in fast-paced environments where quick decisions and empathy are key. I've learned to approach problems from the user’s perspective, finding pain points, focusing on what matters most, and creating solutions that truly meet their needs. The adaptability and critical thinking I’ve developed in patient care have become valuable skills I carry into UX design, allowing me to create solutions that are not only efficient but also supportive and accessible.
Through Designlab’s UX Academy, I’ve deepened my passion for creating technology that is both intuitive and inclusive. By blending my experiences in healthcare, design, and technology, I strive to build solutions that truly make a difference, helping users navigate complex systems with ease and clarity.
